Describe yourself in a few key words…

A busy, working Mum who loves helping people discover their authenticity and achieve their goals in life.

What brought you to become an Image Consultant?

I’ve always loved helping people build confidence around their personal image. When I turned 54, the formal training was a lovely birthday present to myself!

What do you love most about your job?

The newfound confidence that clients gain. I love seeing the positive difference in the way they hold themselves, walk and talk – and what they feel able to do as a result of our work together.

What are your favourite brands and who are your favourite designers/influencers?

I adore the simplicity of Victoria Beckham and the elegance and richness of Giorgio Armani. My own wardrobe is a mix of Autograph (at M&S) with some cosy Mistral knits that I can’t resist in colder months and I love to bag a bargain at the supermarket if I spot something that feels right. My intention is to start adding some pre-loved to my wardrobe.

How would you describe your personal style?

I’d call it comfy elegance. There’s always a scarf and a good amount of wrist bling involved!

Tell us 3 things about yourself we don’t know…

  • I’m a qualified Holistic Massage Therapist.
  • I’ve written a novel but I’ll be doing a rewrite as I realise it could be (even) better.
  • I’m half Indian.

Tell us your favourite quote or words of wisdom…

Don’t worry about your postcode, the cost of the car you drive or your next selfie. What matters is whether you make your house a home, that your car will get you to your friends when they need you and whether you can love yourself on a bad hair day. Me.

What plans do you have for the future?

So many!! I’m working on a rebrand for my business, I’ve started outlining a second novel… and a few people have suggested a self-help book so I want to give that some consideration. I’m answering this question during the Covid Pandemic so I’m really looking forward to taking the holidays we didn’t take in 2020 and hugging all the people I love.
