Back to School Style
As the slightly colder weather kicks in, its time to start thinking about how to transition from summer holiday dressing to back to school style. It’s easy to get comfortable wearing your off duty style for weeks on end whether that be your faithful denim shorts and a tee or your favourite go-to dress. The thought of returning to work mode, rushing out the door for the school run before heading for the office for a day of meetings feels overwhelming to say the least.
Luckily you’re in safe hands, our stylists know only too well how to transition from your chic off duty style to stylish September dressing. We asked our team of stylists and here’s what they said…
Karen Lowe: “I’ll still wear t-shirts and camis but will throw on a blazer. Or instead of shorter dresses etc I’ll go maxi skirt with a lightweight jumper. And there’s always my faithful leather biker jacket.
Emmeline Stevens: “Absolutely LIVE in shorts or jeans and sweaters at weekends and school hols, as Hugo gets older that’ll change but it’s the easiest thing for now. When they’re all at school and I’m working the dress code is usually always different – a smarter look, excuse to wear skirts, dresses & trouser sometimes much more colour too!”
Natalie de Silva: “Jeans, a Breton and YSL trainers for off duty! Back to work is generally a dress.”
Caroline Walton: “Jeans, trainers, sweater and sandpits for me! My transition to September is to carry an umbrella and trench coat wherever I go!”
