Holly Clemens

Even on a bad day Holly’s one of those girls that always looks spot on and continues to smile whatever the challenge. Don’t let her beauty intimidate you – she’s one of the most down to earth friendly girls we know!  Studying journalism, with some pretty awesome adventures, Holly is also a highly skilled Make-Up artist and covers many aspects of our social media and marketing.

Describe yourself in a few key words Bubbly, ambitious, thoughtful, fun & loving

What do you love most about your job? Through writing blogs and creating content on social media for TiCC has allowed me to express my creativity. The content I make at uni can all too often be about intense topics, whereas what I write here is about things that I am passionate about in my every day life too!

Favourite fashion brands/designers: Zara, Mango, Billabong, Roxy, ASOS & New Look are my favourite high street brands but I also love Karen Millen & Vivienne Westwood. Fashion influencers: Bella Hadid, Janice Joostema & Micah Ganneli to name a few

What inspires you? Resilient women like my Mum, makeup, music, documentaries, travel & the 80’s

How would you describe your personal style? I think I’m still figuring that out! Up until recently I worked for Estee Lauder, and I’ve always been makeup mad, that was always my primary focus and whatever I wore came second. However, in the last few months I’ve started to gather the confidence to wear what I want and be true to what I like. My style can go from boho, to rock chic, to 80s dream, it depends on how I feel & where I’m going.

3 things we don’t know about you…

  • As much as I love the city, my ideal break is camping. It takes me back to my childhood.
  • I was a tattoo apprentice for a little while whilst I did my art A Level because I loved to draw portraits
  • I’m studying Journalism which has always been my dream. I’d love to work in TV – I love documentaries and was lucky enough to have won an award and a scholarship, which enabled me to be published locally and film my first documentary in Thailand thanks to The Guardian.

What is your style philosophy? Wear what you like and like what you wear, you don’t have to be the same as everyone else!

“It’s nice to be important but it’s important to be nice”

– my Nan told me that at a young age and I’ll always remember it!
