A supporter of TiCC for many years, evolving from a sea of black we’ve loved seeing Karens style inspire so many followers over the years. Karen always seems to hit the button with textures, prints and a trend setting style every day. Seeing Karen enjoy her charity work and stylish discoveries makes us all want to wear what she’s wearing! 

Describe yourself in a few key words  Energetic, creative, open minded, enthusiastic, positive, fun.

What inspires you? Street style & Instagram. I love pattern and texture whether that’s man-made or natural.  In my personal life I’d have to say that my no.1 inspiration is my crazy, beautiful daughter who constantly teaches me patience, kindness and to laugh more.

Favourite fashion influencers? Zara H&M, Topshop, Office I love charity shops and have found some amazing unique pieces

How would you describe your personal style? A bit of a rock chic!! If I could live my days in leather, studs, faux fur, layers of silver jewellery and leopard print I think I’d be happy. My style is effortless, edgy, interesting and unique.

3 things we don’t know about you:

• My textile design degree portfolio was selected by the costume designer of Star Wars  interested in my work for the new set of films
• I’m a massive street dance fan and pre moving to Bristol from London was obsessed with my weekly classes
• I met my husband on an airport bus in Spain

What is your style philosophy? Wear what you love and what makes you feel good.   If it makes you smile and happy – wear it. Throw out the rule book – there are no rules.  And I will never utter the words, “am I too old to wear this?”!
