Describe yourself in a few key words Bubbly, friendly, caring & loyal
My story. I’ve always been interested in fashion and style, especially as it goes hand in hand with makeup, which has been my career for over 20 years. However, a couple of years ago I felt like I’d lost myself, I’d injured my back and didn’t feel comfortable in myself anymore, so I took matters into my own hands and turned my life around. I lost weight, started the gym, got my hair done and decided to dedicate more time to me again, and started to find my own style.
Being a makeup artist, there’s nothing I love more than making other women feel good in their own skin, and after meeting Emmeline from The Image Consulting Company I realised that becoming a personal stylist would be the perfect next step in my career.
I hated feeling invisible, sometimes being a Mum you feel like you get no time for yourself, and through being a personal stylist I want to empower other women and show them that you can do both; you can be a Mum and do things for yourself. I want to help others get their confidence back like I found mine.
What do you love most about your job? I love to make other people feel happy and special. Every day is different, you get to meet lots of different people and I love that. There aren’t many jobs where you can make somebody feel good about themselves and that’s everything to me
Favourite fashion brands/designers: Oasis, H&M, Zara, Warehouse, Gap & River Island. I’m also really inspired by Amanda Holden & Victoria Beckham, they always look so elegant & feminine.
What inspires you? I’m really inspired by colour, I love to look at a woman and enhance their natural beauty through the use of different shades!
How would you describe your personal style? I don’t feel I belong to a genre, but in a nutshell I’m casual & classy with a slight edge!
3 things we don’t know about you…
What is your style philosophy? Wear what makes you feel confident, because confidence never goes out of style!
