Describe yourself in a few key words Calm – Curious – Imperfect – Organised – Empathetic
What brought you to become an Image Consultant? I’ve always enjoyed helping people and as an image consultant I help them grow more confident through having an organised and stylish wardrobe.
What do you love most about your job? I love my portfolio career, no day is ever the same and I’m always working with new, lovely people. I consider myself lucky that I get to work in the two areas I’m most passionate about – fashion and education. In addition to being a stylist, I’m a life coach and help parents who need some extra support with their children’s development and I’m also an education consultant who supports headteachers to improve their schools.
Favourite fashion brands/designers: My favourite big brands are Zara, Other Stories, Mulberry, Smythson, M&S, Hush, LK Bennett and H&M. I’m frequently inspired by independent brands and small boutiques (often found through Instagram) and I believe that shopping with small businesses is important to keep communities alive in a busy city like London.
What inspires you? The sea, spending time with my friends, walking my dog, flicking through coffee table books, any ballet produced by Matthew Bourne, sitting still in the Henry Moore gallery at Tate Britain
How would you describe your personal style? Practical – Stylish – Prepared, I was once a Girl Guide…!
3 things we don’t know about you…
What is your style philosophy? Wear what you love and what works for your lifestyle, and don’t save your best clothes for a special occasion.
