What brought you to become an Image Consultant?
I always used to love shopping and looking at fashion magazines. I studied for a Higher National Diploma in Clothing when I was 19. I’ve since been working as an Occupational Therapist in the NHS for the last 17 years mainly working in mental health. When I reached my mid forties I decided that I wanted a career change. Friends had often said that I would make a great personal stylist but I never knew how to go about it.
What do you love most about your job?
Meeting new people and seeing their self esteem and confidence grow through our time spent together.
What inspires you?
Looking through magazines at fashion ideas, Psychology books/speakers, lifestyle/wellbeing subjects, meeting and talking to all types of people.
What are your favourite brands & who are your favourite fashion designers/influencers?
Cos, Hush, Arket , & other stories, Zara, Stradivarious. I used to love Jil Sander in the 1990’s. Audrey Hepburn and the old school glamour which never dates. i.e New York in the 1940’s. The glamour and style of the Sex and the City ladies.
How would you describe your personal style?
Relaxed, attainable everyday style with an edge.

What plans do you have for the future?
To continue to build my up my styling business. My ultimate aim is to have a collection of clients who use my services on a seasonal basis and are happy to give verbal recommendations to others about me.
