Describe yourself in a few key words…
Personable, fun, busy mum of two, caring and warm
What brought you to become an Image Consultant?
Fashion and style has always been a big passion of mine and after turning 40 this year I decided to go for it and make it work around a young family. Becoming a personal stylist has always been the dream job for me!
What do you love most about your job?
I love working with people and helping them feel good about themselves and more confident. I get a real buzz from seeing the turnaround in my clients in just a few hours and having the confidence to put outfits together that make them feel great and support their ongoing style journey!
Who have you worked with that compliments the work you do?
I have had lots of great feedback from the women I have styled and have also recently ran a ‘How to build a Capsule Wardrobe’ workshop which went really well. It’s also been great to get lots of comments that my style and outfit choices on Instagram have inspired others to try different things which is fantastic and makes me happy!
What inspires you?
People – I love to see different styles, shapes, sizes, we are all different and that’s what makes this job so interesting and enjoyable. I also get my inspiration from magazines, books and events. I love Pinterest it’s become my guilty pleasure. Instagram is also a great platform, brilliant for networking with like-minded people.
How would you describe your personal style?
I have two different styles dependant on what I am doing. For work my style is quite classic and chic, I love tailored trousers and a blazer and I have always loved wearing heels. Outside of work with two young children as we know that’s not always possible so my style is much more casual. I do love mixing casual with something classic like a maxi skirt with trainers and a blazer so my two styles definitely compliment each other and I can mix and match between the two.
