With everyone jetting off over the next couple of weeks we thought it was only right to talk holiday fashion. Whether you’ve booked an all inclusive to Spain, a road trip across Portugal or two weeks in Devon your holiday essentials need to be perfectly packed.

We will guide you through this seasons must haves to see you through this years getaway in style.

First up is the dreaded swimsuit or bikini. Most hate bearing all at the beach or pool but this is the year to embrace your figure. So many mummy bloggers (including our very own Emmeline Stevens) are wearing their bikini with pride, highlighting what their body has achieved protecting their beautiful babies. Also, there are so many styles available on the high street with chic swimsuits and high waisted bikini briefs to cover your mum tum. If in doubt follow stylist Becky Barnes on how she gets through the bikini shopping dread.

Accessories are both stylish and functional with sunnies to protect your eyes, hats to avoid sunstroke and scarves to act as a sarong as you stroll along the beach. Bridget talks about how wraps are so versatile and are a staple that can be worn so many ways this summer.

A light cover up for the beach is ideal to throw on over your swimsuit. Beautiful embroidered numbers are an easy option for an effortlessly chic look.

Less is certainly more when packing for a holiday. Really think about what you will need depending on the vacation you choose, writing a list. Let’s face it, those last minute throw ins are never worn anyway. Think easy to wear items that all work together to avoid lugging too much to the airport.

Floral maxi dresses, ruffled skirts with printed tees, striped jumpsuits and palazzo trousers are a must this season and so easy to wear!

When it comes to shoes, pack 3 to 4 different styles to last the two weeks. Think espadrilles, mules, loafers and pointed sling backs to finish your holiday outfit perfectly.

Lastly, straw bags are a huge hit this summer adorned with pom poms and embroidery. Choose either an oversized version for the beach or a smaller, chic option for evening meals.

That’s it, you’re ready! If you do need a helping hand we’d love to show you the key holiday items that you need, just get in touch.

Bon Voyage!!
