Autumn Trends 2017
This seasons line up can only be described as an eclectic mix of goodness. The catwalk brought a flash of red, an abundance of glitter, political slogans and coats good enough to sleep in – to name a few runways trends. As they start to filter into the high street this season will be anything but boring as we leave summer behind and fall into autumn.
Dare to Dazzle
Be ready to shine, giving those fellow commuters disco ball envy! Glitzy boots, sequin dresses and shimmering skirts are not just for the dance floor.
Our daily attire just got smarter. A pair of plaid tailored trousers or a checked sharp blazer is enough to make your grandpa notice!
Got the Blues
The new season colour is a huge hit not letting the summer vibes leave your wardrobe just yet! Think cornflower blue with ditsy florals this autumn.
The waist belt come back continues through autumn with the accessory cinching women’s waists in all varieties. Wide, thin or fancy, the belt was fastened around coats, dresses and skirts celebrating the female form.
Go all out with the bold, powerful red shade. It’s all about dressing from head-to-toe in – you guessed it – red! Be ready to pop and make a statement this season!
Think forties glamour and grab yourself a vintage fur. Keep warm in style as you flirt with the latest trend.
Add a pair of fishnets or floral tights to your midi or cropped trousers to make the most of your summer favourites. Team with a chunky knit as the days get cooler.
Brown hues will be filling the high street stores soon becoming the go to colour this season. Don’t be afraid to team with pops of red, blue and pink as you introduce the shade to your wardrobe edit.
Combine your autumn florals with your new fur for the ultimate Russian doll vibe. Layers of fur, texture, knits and colour are the perfect ways of creating the eclectic mix – patchwork is even on the autumn trend agenda!
On those Monday mornings when you would give anything to just hide under your duvet, this years coat selection allows for you to do just that on your daily commute. Cocooned in an ultra-stylish, blanket-like padded coat is the closest thing to an actual duvet day.
Birds of a Feather
A flock of dresses adorned with feathers sashayed down the runway. Skirts and hemlines all embraced the feather treatment.
Printed tees are here to stay for another season and we for one are pleased of the political encouragement. As designers unite us in a world of female empowerment we are proud to wear our thoughts for everyone to see. Tuck into your denim or even a pair of leather trousers.
